World Social Alternative for the union of peoples is promoted

The Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas-Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, through the X (Twitter) social network promoted the reading of the historical document of the Meeting of the World Social Alternative, an event that took place in Caracas on April 18 and brought together more than 60 countries around the world, with various representatives of social movements.

This document seeks to establish minimum and necessary consensus on a variety of issues of global importance such as political, economic, social, cultural and scientific subjects. The initiative invites people and social movements from around the world to join and contribute to strengthening this project.

This proposal of the World Social Alternative is not limited to being a document for study and socialization; Its main objective is to serve as a catalyst for mobilization and social transformation. In this sense, Jorge Arreaza, through his X account, reported actively participating in the construction of this collective platform: “This proposal for collective action is not only for study and socialization, it is above all for mobilization and transformation. Send your contributions to alternativasocialmundial@gmail.com.”

In a context of what Arreaza describes as “violent hyperimperialism,” the World Social Alternative is presented as a concrete tool so that people can react to current challenges and work together to build a new world that is truly humane and post-imperialist. According to Arreaza, it is imperative for the communities to equip themselves with the necessary means to face and overcome the adversities imposed by global power dynamics.

This way, with the presentation of this document, ALBA-TCP reaffirms its commitment to international cooperation and support for social movements. The Global Social Alternative is emerging as a significant step towards unifying efforts and creating a common front that can lead the change towards a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
