During the broadcast of the “Con Maduro+” program, in its 37th edition, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced that from March 22 to April 7, will start the registration of the territorial brigades that will be part of the Great Mission of Equality and Social Justice “Hugo Chávez”, a program that seeks to attack the fundamental points of social injustice to guarantee the well-being of the people.
Likewise, the head of state specified that these actions seek to structure and organize the new Hugo Chávez Brigades in all the communities of the country, with the spokespersons of the communal councils, the Somos Venezuela Movement, community and street leaders, teachers, health committees, Bolivarian National Militia, social movements, community groups and the Francisco de Miranda Front.
Also, he explained that the goal in the first 90 days is to form the first 40,000 Hugo Chávez brigades for equality throughout the territory, with the aim of realizing social plans. Furthermore, President Maduro indicated that these communities are already identified, which is why he only called to join forces of all the governorates and mayors’ offices, with the aim of caring for the victims of the economic war and the criminal sanctions of imperialism.
In this sense, the coordinator for the Great Mission of Equality and Social Justice “Hugo Chávez”, Juan Carlos Loyo, pointed out that the 10 vertices on which this social program is established, seek to attack the fundamental points of equality for the well-being of the people, in addition he called for reflection from all communities to direct the brigade formation process towards the recovery of the socialist welfare state.
Likewise, he reported on an extraordinary case in a Wayú community, which was established in the January 23 parish, and established its own mission base called “Unidad Por La Fuerza Y La Esperanza Hugo Chávez”, an action that triggered the beginning of a communal council made up solely of this indigenous population displaced by the Colombian guerrilla and which exemplifies in the words of Minister Juan Carlos Loyo, “The true spirit of the Great Mission of Equality and Social Justice Hugo Chávez”, a program aimed at the preservation and care of the vulnerable groups in the country.
