The Bolivarian Government will advance during 2024 a plan for the recovery of the Essequibo territory, as assured the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro:
“This year we will work to make tangible that subject that remains in the minds of all Venezuelans: The Venezuelan sun rises through the Essequibo,” said the Head of State during his annual message before the National Assembly.
On the other hand, the Head of State highlighted that Venezuela is on the list of the 19 countries on which imperialism has imposed criminal sanctions in order to subdue its people:
“Given this panorama, everything we do must carry a differentiating label that says: Made in times of war and imperialist blockade. Made in Venezuela,” said Maduro.
Likewise, the President pointed out that Venezuelan democracy is experiencing a stellar moment in which common sense prevails over extremism, sterile conflict and particular interests.
“The mere fact that we are here today in peace allows me to affirm that our model of participatory, direct and leading democracy not only works as proven in each of our achieved goals, but that it becomes increasingly necessary in the future. world to avoid social catastrophes,” he emphasized.
