Dialogue continues in Mexico after impasse by Norwegian Prime Minister’s statements

The head of delegation of the National Government, Jorge Rodríguez, reported that the process of dialogue and negotiation with the opposition will continue in Mexico, despite the impasse that arose due to statements by the Prime Minister of Norway at the UN.

Upon leaving the third dialogue journey, which took place this Saturday, September 25, 2021, the president of the National Assembly explained that Venezuela requested explanations of the fact, and they remain in contact with the opposition delegation:

We consider that impasse has been overcome and we remain together with the facilitating team of the Kingdom of Norway, as well as the accompanying countries of the Russian Federation, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the representatives of the host country, the United Mexican States, working on this arduous process to ensure that these sectors that preferred routes other than the constitutional one, return to the cause of politics in Venezuela”, explained Jorge Rodríguez.

The delegation of the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will continue working with all intensity for dialogue and peace.
