In thanking the receptiveness of the Chinese people during his historic visit to the Asian giant, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro assured that both countries have strengthened the ties of friendship and brotherhood:
“Great work is being done so that the elevation of our strategic partnership has practical concreteness in all areas of the development of our country,” said the national leader at the end of the meeting with the secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CCP) in Shanghai, Chen Jining.
In this sense, he pointed out that Venezuela is moving towards the consolidation of a diversified real economy, for which it has launched the activation of the Special Economic Zones (ZEE), framed in the 18 engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda:
“Venezuela is emerging from a difficult stage of suffering and aggression, but with the heroic efforts of our people we are moving forward and are outlining our own model, a new model of diversified development in the economy,” he noted.
In this regard, he specified that the South American country has studied China’s experience with the ZEEs in detail, which has allowed us to expand knowledge in the area, while at the same time he stressed that the Venezuelan people are moving towards the consolidation of the new era of transition. to socialism, “which merits the development of a diversified economy with new engines.”
For his part, Jining noted that relations between China and Venezuela are an example of solidarity and cooperation in joint pursuit among developing countries:
“Despite the international vicissitudes, the ties between China and Venezuela have always been very solid, under the importance given by both Governments and thanks to the promotion of agreements between our countries, comprehensive cooperation has been maintained in all aspects for the benefit of both peoples.”
Likewise, he assured that the visit of the Venezuelan Head of State, “will undoubtedly give fruitful results of national practical cooperation and from China we express our willingness to play an important role, in addition to contributing to the internal development of cooperation and ties between both parties,” he concluded.
