Bolivarian Government foresees an increase in the economy by the end of 2023

Compliance with the 18 drivers of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda will guarantee growth above 5% at the end of 2023. This was highlighted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during an interview with the Xinhua Chinese News Agency.

From the Casona Cultural Aquiles Nazoa, located in Caracas, the President assured that since 2021, Venezuela has begun its path to economic recovery as part of the counteroffensive against the sanctions and unilateral coercive measures imposed by the US government:

Venezuela had good results in the second half of 2021, we had very good results in 2022 with growth above 15%, and this year growth above 5% is projected for a new economy, an economy that It generates goods, services and begins to generate wealth for the country step by step, little by little, we could say that it is an achievement of an entire country,” he stated.

In this sense, he exalted the rebellious character of the Venezuelan people when facing the more than 950 illegal sanctions against the country:

There is a great consensus in Venezuela to work and attend to the economy, to recover productive capacity and to achieve higher levels of satisfaction of the needs of our people,” he detailed.

In the same order of ideas, the Dignitary rejected any conspiracy towards Venezuela “which only seeks to justify a military invasion”, while stating that the people has managed to contain, neutralize and defeat all conspiracies “and in Venezuela today political peace reigns, social peace, internal stability and a process of harmony and necessary internal balance increasingly reigns.”
