“I tell you, General Padrino, (it’s) approved, proceed to degrade and expel from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces all these mercenaries and traitors, convicted and confessed.”
The instruction was carried out by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, when referring to those involved in the five conspiracies against the Venezuelan people that sought to alter the peace of the country, as well as to attempt against his life:
“They are all convicted and confessed, their testimonies are recorded and written that confirm the plans to attack military units to fill the country with violence, they confirm their politician accomplices, and in the civil field they confirm the plans to assassinate me, to assassinate General Padrino, to assassinate Governor Freddy Bernal,” reported the national president during the 31st edition of the “Con Maduro+” program, from La Guaira state.
In this sense, he explained that the authorities have other technological and physical evidences “that the Prosecutor’s Office already handles and with its professional capacity, I believe that Venezuela has a Public Ministry of the highest professional level, of the highest scientific level to prevent violence”, he highlighted.
This Monday – at a press conference – Attorney General Tarek William Saab detailed the sequence of several conspiracies revealed, whose purpose were to assassinate the Head of State.
During his statements, he explained that a total of 31 people – including civilians and soldiers – have been detained since May 2023, for allegedly being involved in five conspiratorial plans that included the assassination of President Nicolás Maduro and assaults on military installations.
“Draw your own conclusions, from one conspiracy to another conspiracy, we could say that this process of 2023 has been a process to reveal, discover and defeat a permanent conspiracy against the peace of Venezuela, against the tranquility of Venezuela,” he concluded.
