Vice President Delcy Rodríguez arrives at the Hangar of the Belém Convention Center in Brazil

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, accompanied by Chancellor Yván Gil, arrived at the Hangar of the Belém Convention Center, in Brazil, with the purpose of exchanging ideas and discussing concrete actions to rescue the plant lung, which integrates eight South American countries in the Amazon Summit 2023.

In this way, Rodríguez will bring the voice of the Bolivarian nation to this important meeting that brings together the authorities of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.

The activity began on August 4 with the interventions of the representatives of the indigenous peoples, where dialogues, technical tables, sessions and plenary sessions were held, and until Sunday more than 27,000 people were received among aborigines, social movements, ecologists and environmentalists.

It is worth remembering that this initiative is framed within the 5th objective of the Homeland Plan in which Venezuela advances in the contribution and preservation of life on the planet and above all the salvation of the human species.
