The Parlasur Electoral Observation Mission described the 2021 Regional and Municipal Elections as an impeccable journey that allowed the popular will to be expressed.
Óscar Laborde, head of the Mission of the Observatory for Democracy of the Mercosur Parliament, stressed that he met with political actors of all tendencies and the isolated incidents that occurred do not invalidate the electoral process.
“After having seen very complicated electoral processes throughout America, we are very happy to have participated,” said Laborde.
