COVID: Venezuela registers 1,522 new cases in the last 24 hours

1,522 new infections by Covid-19, all community transmission cases, were registered in Venezuela in the last 24 hours. Miranda state is the entity with the highest number of cases, with 516 active in 17 of its 21 municipalities, followed by Caracas with 344 cases, La Guaira with 215, Falcón with 141 and Aragua state with 73 cases.

11 Venezuelans died from Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 4,454 deceases to date.

563 days after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in Venezuela, 367,672 is the total number of infections, with 349,967 patients recovered and 13,251 current active cases.

Vaccination has been accelerated in the country under instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, which is why a call is made to those over 60 years of age and to those people who received the first dose before June 30 to go to the vaccination centers without needing a prior appointment, just with the vaccination card, and thus complete the immunization process.
