Day 947| Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 20 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 20 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 19 cases are community cases and one imported case, which brings the confirmed accumulated to 545,397 cases, with 618 active cases, while the figure of recovered cases is located in 538,959 patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Tuesday by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during the customary daily review offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

She reported that the community cases are located in the states: Aragua (11), Zulia (7) and Yaracuy (1).

Aragua has the highest number of infections in six of its 18 municipalities: Girardot (4), Libertador (2), Mario Briceño Iragorry (2), Bolívar (1), Francisco Linares Alcántara (1) and Santiago Mariño (1).

In week 136 and day 947 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

Total infections: 545,397.

Recovered patients: 538,959 (99%).

Current active cases: 618.

Total deceased: 5,820.
