Monsignor Celli: On January 13 will review agreements reached at the Table of Dialogue


The Venezuelan special envoy to attend the dialogue forum in Venezuela, Claudio Maria Celli, reported on Tuesday night that: “Although there are clearly positive results, there are still issues on the agenda that are pending to resolve.”
He considered that should begin a stage “That will lead us towards the activation, consolidation and sustainability of the national dialogue for which we have presented a proposal of work”.
Thus he said at a press conference, held in a hotel in Caracas, after the opposition said it would not attend on Tuesday, December 6, to the table of dialogue.
Celli expressed his appreciation to the Bolivarian Government and to the Board of Democratic Unity (MUD) for the reaffirmation of their commitment to dialogue, as well as the maintenance of peace in Venezuela, as well as his sincere concern to efficiently implement the agreements emanated from the dialogue.
The special envoy stressed that the dialogue table will restart on January 13, 2017. This deadline will be used to work immediately on the thematic tables of the dialogue.
They asked the public authorities “not to approve or refrain from dictating decisions that may hinder relations between them or the dialogue process until January 13, 2017”, that term will be used to work immediately on thematic tables of the national dialogue. The tables will be divided as follows:
The first table will be responsible for the rule of law and National sovereignty; The second one for security, truth, human rights, reparation of victims and reconciliation. The third one: economic, social scopes and the fourth one: generation of confidence and electoral schedule.
For each of the tables, the companions have proposed specific topics in order to advance and specify the results expected by the Venezuelans, as concluded the special envoy of the Vatican.
