Venezuela consolidates bilateral relations with Russia

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, in order to consolidate and strengthen the bilateral relations of both nations.

“I had a telephone call with the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, to strengthen the excellent bilateral and international relations between Venezuela and Russia. The friendship of our peoples is strengthened thanks to presidents Vladimir Putin and Nicolás Maduro”, wrote the Vice President.

Since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, in 1999, Venezuela and Russia have strengthened their relations; Since then, both countries have more than 261 agreements signed in the agricultural, oil, gas, industrial, and military sectors, among others.
