A total of 97 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, to add 542,704 as the confirmed accumulated total of cases.
Most of the contagions of the day are located in the states Falcón (33), Zulia (17), Caracas (14), Carabobo (8), Sucre (7), among others.
This was announced this Friday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.
On day 901 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,797 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 535,085 and there are 1,822 current active cases.
