Five political parties must renew before the CNE

The president of the National Constituent Assembly, Delcy Rodríguez, made known – through a message posted on Twitter – the names of organizations with political purposes that should participate in the validation process before the National Electoral Council.

Acción Democratica (AD), the Democratic Unity Board (MUD), Primero Justicia Movement (MPJ), Voluntad Popular- Activists (VPA) and the Union and Understanding Party (Puente), are the parties that must attend this process, as It follows from the letter sent by the General Secretariat of the CNE to the constituent, and whose image was published in her Twitter account.

The measure corresponds to the provisions of the constitutional decree approved by the ANC, on 20-12-2017, and is mandatory for those organizations that did not participate in the last municipal elections and that wish to apply for candidates to the presidential elections planned for this year.

In this regard, the CNE will enable the validation process of political organizations on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28.
