COVID: Venezuela registered 137 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 137 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which eight arrived from the Dominican Republic (5), Panama (2) and Cuba (1), bringing the confirmed accumulated total to 528,429 cases.

The community cases registered today are located in the states Miranda (35), Caracas (31), Yaracuy (23), Monagas (21), Aragua (7), La Guaira (6), Trujillo (2), Zulia (1), Carabobo (1), Sucre (1) and Lara (1).

This was announced this Friday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 848 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country records the figure of 5,741 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 519,887 and there are 2,801 current active cases.
