Bolivarian National Guard celebrates its 83rd anniversary

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated on Tuesday the members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) on the occasion of its 83rd anniversary.

“I congratulate the honorable Bolivarian National Guard on its 83rd anniversary. Men and women of honor who assume with the utmost discipline and commitment the task of ensuring the security and tranquility of Venezuela. The people thank you for your sacrifice and dedication in favor of national Peace”.

Against the pretenses of foreign governments to intervene Venezuela with the aim of appropriating its resources, the GNB stands with the people in defense of its sovereignty.

The GNB as an anti-imperialist armed body arises from the legacy of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and the heroes of the Republic.

Likewise, the Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, extended his congratulations to the GNB, through the Twitter social network: “What a historic moment it has been for the men and women of the Dark Red emblem today when reaching their 83rd anniversary. We are proud to have you in ranks because a GNB is found everywhere, always with the people in function of social justice. LONG LIVE THE GNB!”
