2,000 high schools in the country will be transformed into comprehensive technical schools

“We are going to take up to 2,000 high schools to the specification of technical schools so that the boys study from high school a capacity, a specialty, it is about retaking the concept of technical schools, to expand and multiply it.”

The information was released by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro in the framework of the meeting with the community governments of the state of La Guaira, from the Emilio Gimón Steeling Educational Complex, located in Catia La Mar.

In this sense, Yelitze Santaella, Minister of People’s Power for Education, highlighted that with the start-up of high schools and technical schools, the development of the 18 productive engines promoted by the Bolivarian Government is promoted:
