He highlighted the importance of the agreements signed between (Prosecutor) Karim Khan and the Venezuelan State, which establish mechanisms to improve cooperation and facilitate the effective performance of the Prosecutor’s mandate in the territory of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as to agree on means and mechanisms that contribute effectively to the efforts of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, to carry out authentic national actions in accordance with article 17 of the Rome Statute:
