Venezuela expresses solidarity with Turkey after terrorist attacks


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, on Sunday expressed his solidarity with the people and Government of Turkey, following the double terrorist attack in the vicinity of the Besiktas football stadium in downtown Istanbul city. In which 38 people lost their lives, while another 166 were injured.
“Venezuela rejects terrorism in all its expressions and calls for prevention of the causes of this phenomenon that subjects entire peoples to fear and violence, massively denying access to their fundamental human rights,” said the statement released by the Foreign Ministry of the Republic.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Government and the Venezuelan people, expresses his solidarity and dismay at the Turkish Government, the Turkish people, and the relatives and friends of the dozens of victims and wounded by the double terrorist attack that happened the night of this Saturday, December 10 in the city of Istanbul.
Venezuela rejects terrorism in all its expressions, and calls for prevention of the causes of this phenomenon that subjects entire peoples to fear and violence, massively denying access to their fundamental human rights.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela regrets the suffering of the Turkish nation and conveys its heartfelt word of encouragement to the relatives of the victims, as well as sending a message of strength and unity in this difficult moment, while ratifying the principles of Bolivarian peace diplomacy in strict respect for international law for the peaceful coexistence of nations, free from hatred and intolerance.
