The National Electoral Council described as satisfactory the Electoral Simulation that was carried out throughout Venezuela this Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Pedro Calzadilla, president of the Electoral Power, offered a balance of the general rehearsal, which achieved that the institutions, citizenship and all organizations with political purposes, agreed and spent a day testing the processes that will govern the Regional and Municipal Elections of November 21 this year.
Calzadilla stressed that the participation of the voters and of all the political parties exceeded expectations, which represents “a testimony of the vibrant, lively and profound democracy that exists in Venezuela”.
Regarding the international observation, the rector of the CNE reiterated that Josep Borrell violated the agreement signed between the Venezuelan Electoral Power and the European Union, and this entity “has not responded to the communication where we ask for explanations.”
