Fuel supply standardization plan will be announced in the coming days

The fuel supply normalization plan will be announced in the coming days, as reported the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, on Tuesday.

The announcement is made after the arrival of three Iranian ships (Fortune, Forest, Petunia) loaded with fuels and supplies that were sent to Venezuela in the framework of cooperation and trade agreements between the two nations:

«I want to thank the people and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for their solidarity, their bravery that has allowed three ships to arrive in Venezuela with gasoline and supplies for the recovery of the refineries», said the President,

In the context of the effects of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States of America on Venezuela, the production of the state-owned fuel company Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA) has been affected.

«Our people must know that the government of the United States, in coordination with the terrorist, surrenderist opposition from Venezuela, has pursued for more than a year all the imports of inputs needed to produce gasoline», he denounced.

The arrival of the ships will be progressive and will count with the accompaniment of the Bolivian National Armed Forces (FANB) once in Venezuelan territorial waters.

The Fortune, Forest, Petunia, Faxon and Clavel vessels loaded gasoline and additives in the Iranian port of Bandar Abás in March, and began their journey since May 16. The five ships transport 1.53 million barrels of gasoline and alkylate to Venezuela.
