Despite the blockade: President Nicolás Maduro delivered the 3,600,000th GMVV housing

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, delivered on Thursday the 3,600,000th milestone of the Great Mission Housing Venezuela – GMVV, an action described by the national president as a true achievement despite the economic asphyxia generated by the blockade and coercive actions unilateral laws applied by the US government against the Venezuelan people.

During his participation in a new Housing Thursday journey, broadcast from the pottery and supplies factory “27 de Febrero” located in Guatire, Miranda state, the head of state assured that “there is no blockade or sanctions that can stop us, we have kept building houses and we are not going to stop”.

“The sanctions and the guarimbas (riots) hit us very hard, but here we continue and we will recover the industry in the coming months”, predicted the President in a tour of the company made up of 121 workers and which maintains a daily production of 15,000 blocks.

In this context, President Maduro reiterated that the goal of the national Executive is to build and deliver 5,000,000 homes by 2025, for which he instructed to raise Petrocasa’s production to 100%, “tomorrow we will meet to create a plan to help us increase Petrocasa’s production”, he said.

In the same way, he announced the creation of the “Aristóbulo Istúriz” School of the Popular Builder, whose activity will be reinvigorated in all the communities of the country, in order to acknowledge and reinforce the work of the men and women who build their own housings.

3,600,000th milestone:

It is worth noting that the 3,600,000th house was delivered in the Santa Rita municipality of Zulia state, by the hand of Deputy Minister Efraín Sánchez, in the Lago Sol urban development, a housing development that is under construction in articulation with the private company, and which is paid in Petros.

In this residential complex, were delivered 52 housings in total, adding to the more than 4,000 that have already been granted in Zulia state.
