Venezuela reports 1,019 new infections by Covid-19 in the last 24 hours; 993 by community transmission and 26 imported cases, coming from Panama and the Dominican Republic.
Community cases are located in Mérida, Monagas, Cojedes, Zulia and Sucre states, with 232, 170, 129, 106 and 54 respectively.
493 days after the start of the pandemic in Venezuela, the total number of infections is 295,746, with 279,177 people recovered, 13,143 active cases, of which 12,721 are receiving medical care in hospitals and 422 in clinics.
7,186 patients have no symptoms, 4,544 suffer from mild acute respiratory failure, 986 have acute to moderate failure, and 427 are hospitalized in intensive care units.
