The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, asked for all the technical, scientific, political support for the Presidential Council of the Popular Government of the Communes to be a success.
That is why popular laws are being consulted, such as the law of Communal Cities approved in first discussion in the National Assembly, as well as the strengthening of the Communal Parliament, tasks of the Bolivarian Revolution to strengthen the People’s Power.
Maduro recalled that the National Assembly, which was in the hands of the opposition, was dedicated to “conspire to overthrow and kill me. They devoted themselves to make money, the leaders of parties at the NA. It was an oligarchic parliament, far away from the people. They sought the vote and then stabbed the voters. Then they passed laws in favor of the billionaires”.
On the other hand, the Head of State denounced that there are destabilizing groups that are buying gangs in the neighborhoods in order to cause anxiety.
He said that those who are working against the peace in the communities have been identified, “But we already have the peace quadrants to attack the dirty plans to create gangs to attack the people. It is necessary to act, rather than talk. A word to the wise is enough“.
Maduro’s statements were made during the installation of the Presidential Council of the Popular Government of the Communes.
