Diosdado Cabello: Gringo sanctions have prevented the country's economic progress

The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Diosdado Cabello, said that Venezuela would not be going through an unfavorable economic situation, had the United States regime not applied coercive measures against the nation since 2017:
“The difference in that case is that, instead of 3 million housings we would have 5 million. As such, instead of being looking for medicines for the people, we would have them all. What we demand (from the US) is for them to allow us access”, said Cabello during the broadcast of his program” Nos Vemos en la Radio” (See you on the radio) broadcast by the Radio Nacional de Venezuela network.
He regretted that the self-proclaimed deputy, Juan Guaidó, persists in the eagerness to request economic sanctions against Venezuela: “Juanito Alimaña (Johnny the Scoundrel) and his gang prevent us from buying medicines for the people”, he nodded.
Finally, the president of the ANC, Diosdado Cabello, ruled out that the government of President Nicolás Maduro has any kind of responsibility with the recent popular protests in Colombia: “(Iván) Duque you are going badly, very badly … don’t blame it on us”, he said.
