Cabello: DEC-6 elections put away war scenarios against Venezuela

The first vice president for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, emphasized this Sunday that the parliamentary elections on December 6, put away war scenarios that are intended to be carried out against Venezuela.

During an interview on the “Aqui Con Ernesto” (Here with Ernesto) Villegas program, Cabello stressed that despite the division between members of the Venezuelan right wing, “a majority of that opposition will participate” in the elections for the National Assembly, scheduled for December 6.

“Those who do not want to go to the elections are the same ones who said in 2015 that after winning the National Assembly, then in six months, President Nicolás Maduro would be out”, following instructions from foreign governments that are trying to overthrow the constitutionally elected government of Venezuela.

Faced with the political scenario that Venezuela is experiencing, Cabello stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) have understood the process that Venezuela is going through, and so remain unscathed, loyal to the interests of the homeland and the people of Venezuela.

The member of the red awning outlined the military maneuvers in Colombia that threaten national sovereignty, as well as the sanctions against State institutions that seek to weaken the country’s electoral process.

In this context, authorities of the Electoral Power have expressed their commitment to the right to vote for Venezuelans.
