Venezuela confirms 77 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, and brings to 618 the figures of those infected by the outbreak, as reported on Monday the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

After ending the permanent meeting of the Presidential Commission against Covid 19 in Miraflores, Delcy Rodríguez analyzed the imported cases of the compatriots who are returning to our homeland from Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Chile and Peru.

In this sense, she indicated that, of the 77 new cases, 64 are imported, representing 83% of the total, and highlighting that they are compatriots who return after receiving the denied right to life and free health in these countries: “They were also being persecuted for being Venezuelans in countries that are the focus of infection, which has meant an increased rate of infection”, she said.

She also indicated that, up to date, the country has 618 cases in total, with 355 active cases, 253 people who have recovered their health, 144 are being treated in sentinel hospitals, 196 in Integral Diagnostic Centers, 15 in private clinics, and 10 deceased.

The executive vice president once again warned about the need to wear a mask to definitively stop contagion.
