18,161,036 people have answered Patria system survey for Covid-19

The vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on Monday that 18,161,036 people have responded to the survey of the Patria (Homeland) System, promoted by the National Executive to be able to detect the inhabitants who present symptoms of Covid-19.

In statements from Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez affirmed that this method has allowed to build and keep updated the Venezuelan health map for the construction of the epidemiological record of Covid-19 cases.

She specified that, through the survey, 151,801 people were prioritized to receive a home visit, of which 143,717 were attended by the medical staff of the Barrio Adentro Mission.

As of Monday, Venezuela reports 189 people infected with coronavirus, of whom 110 have recovered and the death toll remains at nine.
