Venezuela and the United Nations Organization (UN) strengthen a joint work agenda for the sustainable development of the people, as reported the Chancellor of the Republic, Félix Plasencia.

“Together with the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System in Venezuela, Gianluca Rampolla, we followed up on our work agenda and reiterated the commitment of the Government led by President Nicolás Maduro with the multilateralism and sustainable development of our people,” Plasencia wrote through his account on the Twitter social network.

The humanitarian coordinator also met this Friday with the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

On the occasion “we highlighted the impact of the criminal blockade on the development of peoples” and “we ratified the commitment to strengthen the joint work agenda,” said Rodríguez on her Twitter account.

For his part, the humanitarian coordinator ratified on his social networks his commitment to the most vulnerable people in Venezuela:

We had a productive meeting today with the Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez. We discussed UN work plans in the country to help vulnerable people to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals”, said the organization’s resident coordinator in the country.
