22 tons of medical supplies arrived to Venezuela in third aid batch from China

The vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that on Monday arrived to Venezuela from China 22 tons of material for the combat of Covid-19.

“The airlift will continue because Venezuela has the production to confront and combat Covid-19 as we are doing, that is why we are deployed throughout the national territory doing the house-by-house investigation”, said Rodríguez in statements from Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.

She explained that among the supplies are 500,000 more detection tests as part of the airlift installed with China, also PCR tests, biosafety detection suits, lenses, gloves, fans, ultrasound equipment and infrared thermometers.

This Monday, in the early hours of the morning, the first group of infectious disease specialists, intensivists and laboratory test experts arrived in Venezuela from the Asian nation, as well as a third shipment of medical supplies for the approach and prevention of Covid-19 pandemic in Venezuelan territory.
