President Maduro proposes Plan 200 to the new NA

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, proposed the “Plan 200”, a project with which the new National Assembly will start the first 200 days of 2021.

“I want to ask the deputies – to make a solid start-up plan, Plan 200, for the first two hundred days of the year 2021, the bicentennial year of the Battle of Carabobo.”

The purpose of the proposal is to establish, in principle, a dialogue of action to go after the people’s problems and reach consensus to solve them amidst the multiform war orchestrated by the United States government.

“To put the problems on the table and alleviate the serious problems that the people has with the family economy (…) and so that in Venezuela the floodgates are opened to a great dialogue of action that we have never known in these years of Revolution” , stressed the national president.

He pointed out that it will be “a great political, social, cultural, economic, religious table (…) to debate for in a particular and specialized way to carry out recovery actions in Venezuela”, he stressed from the Teresa Carreño Theater when holding a meeting with deputies elected to the National Assembly (AN) by the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB) of the Capital District, Miranda and Vargas states.

He also asked the body of deputies to work hard and hand in hand with the Executive branch to end corruption and bureaucracy.

“I ask you to help me fight corruption, bureaucracy and errors, to help me for a deep rectification of the Bolivarian Revolution,” he said.

He finally appointed the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, as the official link between the Legislative and Executive branches.

“I have asked the Executive Vice President to whom I entrust the permanent link with the new National Assembly with all the issues they want to discuss with the Executive.”
