Venezuela will host Afro-descendant Movements World Meeting


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported on Thursday that within a week Venezuela will host the Afro-descendant Movements World Meeting, with delegates from 90 countries.
At the closing of the First International Congress of Originary Peoples, the head of state insisted that progressive governments “meet for the good and union of humanity, freedom, equality, for the ancestral struggle for rights”.
To the international guests present at this event, President Maduro stressed the importance of the union of the peoples of the world.
It is necessary to continue “building the civic-military union, the union of the peoples; it is very important, brothers and sisters, who visit us from around the world, the political, ideological, moral, spiritual union of all the forces that want changes in the world is very important, the union of the leaders of social organizations and policies to keep pushing a new world”.
