The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, congratulated on Wednesday night the definitive peace agreement signed between the Government of Colombia and the Revolutionary Armed Forces, People’s Army (FARC-EP).
«I reiterate my congratulations to Colombia for the definitive agreements signed today in Havana, may you have all the support to build Peace», said the Head of State through his account on the Twitter social network.
It should be noted that the agreement was made concrete in Havana-Cuba, where took place the boards of dialogue between the two sides from September 2012.
The text was signed by Humberto de la Calle, representative of the Government of Colombia, and Ivan Marquez, a representative of the FARC-EP, and the guarantors of the negotiating countries, Rodolfo Benitez of Cuba and Dag Nylander, guarantor for Norway.
The signed copies were handed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.
