The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, met on Monday with the Commanders of the Territorial Defensive System of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), constituted by the commanders of the different Integral Defense Regions (REDI), the Zones of Integral Defense (ZODI) of Venezuela and the Bolivarian National Militia.
This meeting that took place in Fort Tiuna, in Caracas, has the goal of studying the capacity to guarantee independence, sovereignty, security, integrity of geographical space and national development.
Through his Twitter account, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro highlighted: “Our men and women of the FANB are in permanent training to develop the greatest professional capacity and put it at the service of the defense of national sovereignty. That is the commitment to the Homeland!”
During the journey, the President signed the Book of Strategic Military Concept for the Integral Defense of the Nation, which will be spread in the country’s military universities.
