Bolivarian Government unveils coup plot against President Maduro


The Venezuelan Minister of Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, revealed new evidence revealing the destabilizing plans that were intended to apply with support from Colombia and Chile against Venezuela.
From Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez said: “There is a relationship in which events A and B can have a cause and effect condition if they are linked chronologically. In politics there is a sad role of puppets that pretend to attack democracy”.
In this sense, he stated that “Duque and Piñera anticipate the violent acts against Venezuela. What they do not know is that we have antibodies, they do not understand that there is a cohesive FANB. We have antibodies of morals, dignity and decency”.
The also sectoral vice-president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, explained that “They already knew that on April 30 was going to be a riot, and therefore they brought out different news about Venezuela (…) and began again with that song of that the days of Maduro are numbered. They have said the same thing”, said the minister.
“What Guaidó does not know is that we were present in all the meetings in which they planned assassinations to government officials; we have audios, videos and information necessary to face the coup attempts”.
In the same order of ideas, Rodriguez stressed that the military Carlos Eduardo Lozada Saavedra declared that he “was deceived with a call from abroad in order to take over the La Carlota airbase and hijack the war tanks to protect it, however it could not be carried out since there were no adequate operatives (…) More than 56 hours of “video” of destabilizing plans are in the hands of the intelligence bodies of the Venezuelan State”, said Rodriguez.
Rodriguez said that “Among the plans for the coup d’état against President Maduro are included a coup within the very opposition directed against Juan Guaidó (…) Among those involved in the attempted coup were retired militaries who were paid for to provide information, and in addition to money they were offered the US visa”, He said.
He emphasized that the detainee Rafael Acosta Arévalo, a.k.a. “Gonzalo” involved in the attempt of frustrated assassination and coup d’état on April 30, “It was expected a war of about 3 days if everything went well”.
