The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Thursday that the country has been subjected to an international aggression, promoted by the fascist right wing.
“Until when will they try to hurt Venezuela? Which country in the world is subjected to such an obsession of aggression, as the one Venezuela has been subjected to for more than a year?”Asked the Head of State.
During a press conference to national and international media from Miraflores Palace, he added that the country has been victorious in international organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS) and the United Nations Organization (UN), despite the international media war.
“The victory we have just had at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva is part of a chain to open the way to peace and stability in Venezuela”, he said.
He stressed that the world knows it needs a Venezuela set as an energy power in peace because it represents the hope of many in the world.
Faced with this, the Head of State rejected that again at the OAS General Assembly held in Cancun, Mexico, is evidenced the coercion of political freedoms by prohibiting the public support of citizens to the Venezuelan Government.
He qualified the prohibitive actions given by the Government headed by Enrique Peña Nieto as cowardice.
“We are a besieged, martyred country, but that remains standing”, he said.
