The head of Russian Intelligence, Sergei Naryshkin, said on Tuesday that the US government is testing a new type of hybrid war, which is currently observed in Venezuela.
“In reality it is about the creation of a universal algorithm, of the realization of secret actions of influence of permanent way at a world-wide level”, he affirmed, adding that the work of this type is seen in a more evident manner in Venezuela.
Such actions “never cease, are carried out not only against enemies, but also friends and neutral forces in conditions of peace, crisis and war”” he reiterated in the framework of the international meeting of senior representatives responsible for security matters, which are currently being held in the Russian city of Ufa, under the auspices of the Russian Security Council.

“[That work] should be compared to the activity of a virus: it can destroy a human organism for decades without showing up, but when it’s discovered, it’s often too late to fight,” he said.
According to his words, in the countries that are victims of the actions in question, several structures appear that do not depend on the State. These formations collect information on existing conflicts and current problems, and at the same time influence the situation of a specific country and, if necessary, initiate destructive processes.
Naryshkin said that “at the right time” protest movements “are synchronized, the high political system collapses under the weight of numerous challenges and a new force comes to power.”
“In the public consciousness a new pattern of behavior is introduced through the controlled channels, all this is accompanied by a broad propaganda campaign in the world media, aimed at convincing the people of the lack of alternatives to that evolution of the situation, as well as justify external interference, if necessary”, he said.
