The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced on Wednesday that next week he will launch the Petro Oro (Gold Petro), an economic tool for the renewal of the national economy.
“The Petro is a cryptocurrency unique in the world that has support in oil, and next week we will launch the Petro Oro with a backing in gold, even more powerful, that comes to strengthen the Petro as a Venezuelan currency in the world of the cryptocurrency”, he said. at the time he reported that 36 of the cryptocurrency exchange houses in the world are working with Venezuela.
He asked the whole country, especially to the Venezuelan youth, to work for the success of Petro and the new economy that is wanted to build.
