Venezuelan government delivered a protest note to US Chargé d’Affaires

On Thursday, the Venezuelan government delivered a protest note to the charge d’affaires of the United States (USA) in Venezuela, James Story.

The delivery was made by the Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, who held a meeting with the US diplomat.

Last Wednesday, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, ordered Chancellor Arreaza to hold a meeting with the charge d’affaires in the United States to correct attitudes that from the US embassy seek to disorient internal affairs of Venezuela.

In a press conference with national and international media, President Maduro denounced that John Bolton, US National Security Adviser, directs a terrorist and interventionist plan to “violate democracy” and impose a dictatorial government in Venezuela.
