The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, delegated on Monday to the national leadership of the party, the convocation of the Bolivarian Central Command as the highest authority of the 4h Congress of the organization:
“I delegate to the national leadership (…) to convene as soon as possible the installation of the new Bolivarian Central Command that will be formed at this time by the members of the leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, all members of the JPSUV, all governors, mayors of the fundamental capitals of the country and the Political Council”, ordered Maduro from the closure of the 4th PSUV Congress from the Poliedro de Caracas.
He pointed out that this command, made up of 130 people, will be the maximum leadership instance of the party between each Congress.
In addition, he indicated, will be maintained a process of consultation and debate before the decision-making, as well as the conclusions of the 4th Congress in order to verify and follow up on the goals such as the installation of the PSUV houses, the restructuring of the Bolívar-Chávez Battle Units (UBCH) among others.
Maduro agreed with the main members of the organization, to set the date of installation of the aforementioned command.
