President of the TSJ received “Doctor Honoris Causa” title from Unefanb

The president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Magistrate Maikel Moreno, received on Monday the “Doctor Honoris Causa” title from the National Polytechnic Experimental University of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Unefanb), as part of the recognition of his academic merits and his hard work as a jurist in order to guarantee the people access to justice, as established in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Also, the vice president of the Criminal Cassation Chamber, Judge Elsa Janeth Gómez Moreno, received from the Unefanb the Honoris Causa Doctorate, highlighting and recognizing her important work and contributions in the field of justice in the country.

The MAgistrate-President was recognized for his extensive and distinguished career in the judicial field, as well as for his invaluable contribution in order to guarantee peace and democratic institutions in the country, in turn, for his tireless efforts within the judiciary oriented to the protection of the high ends of the State. In addition, he was recognized for his contributions in various activities as a social fighter of the communities, manifesting a great social sensitivity through legal advice.

In the activity, held at the Unefanb headquarters, located in Caracas, Magistrate Maikel Moreno and Magistrate Elsa Janeth Gómez Moreno received the title “Doctor Honoris Causa” from the rector of the house of studies, G / D Nerio Enrique Galbán Méndez. Act in which also the General Commander of the Bolivarian Army, M / G Jesús Suarez Chourio, received the Doctorate Honoris Causa “for his outstanding work and loyalty demonstrated in the Venezuelan military field.

Magistrate Maikel Moreno, on receiving the Honoris Causa Doctorate, first thanked the National Polytechnic Experimental University of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces for this recognition, while expressing: “I receive this title with humility and also commits me to continue working on untiring way from the Judicial Power in defense of the postulates consecrated in the Magna Carta, of the Venezuelan people and of the sacred interests of the Homeland “.
