The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro said on Tuesday that the Homeland Congress will maintain in a permanent manner as part of the new phase of the Bolivarian Revolution.
«I assume the proposal to establish the Homeland Congress as a permanent instrument of the Bolivarian Revolution for this new phase that is starting today, April 19,» said Maduro in a national radio and television joint broadcast from the Plaza Bolivar in Caracas.
It is noteworthy that on last April 13 and 14, the Homeland Congress activated an agenda based on a development plan with proposals from all sectors of the country, in order to contribute to the building of a productive economy and strengthen popular participation in making public decisions.
