Bolivarian Military Aviation joins plan to boost national trade

The Decentralized Service for Standardization, Quality, Metrology and Technical Regulations (SENCAMER) and the Bolivarian Military Aviation (AMB) held a working meeting this Wednesday, as a first step to update a Cooperation, Exchange, Training, Technical Advice Agreement and Professional, Accreditation and Calibration signed between both institutions.

The Agreement is part of the Strategic Plan for the Reimpulse of National Trade 2022-2025 led by the Minister of People’s Power for National Trade, Dheliz Álvarez. This initiative has among its objectives and vertices of action the task of giving a boost to the Venezuelan Quality System, through the governing body of this sector.

The strategic alliance between SENCAMER and the AMB promotes the joint development of technical-scientific activities, as well as will allow, later, the accreditation of the Metrology Laboratories that the Bolivarian Military Aviation has in the “El Libertador Air Base”, located in Maracay, Aragua State.

Additionally, SENCAMER will develop a Technical Assistance Plan to advise the AMB in the implementation of a quality management system. In addition, the alliance provides for the creation of an Aeronautics Technical Committee to speed up the development of Venezuelan COVENIN Standards in this area.

The Cooperation Agreement also provides for the design and execution of a technical-scientific training program, specialized in the areas of metrology and quality, through the SENCAMER Center for Quality Infrastructure Studies.
