The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, assured that the European Parliament removes the mask by supporting the violent opposition and promoting the regime regime by force in Venezuela.

Through his account in the Twitter social network, the Head of Foreign Relations denounced the action of the European Parliament, who announced this Thursday to hand over the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Conscience to the Venezuelan opposition, represented by the National Assembly and its president, Julio Borges, as well as by the opposition leaders Leopoldo López and Antonio Ledezma.
According to the parliamentary promoters of this recognition it is granted to incite the struggle carried out by the Venezuelan opposition to change the political regime in the country.
Between April and July, the opposition developed and promoted actions of political violence that resulted in over one hundred deaths and thousands of injuries. Among the victims are 29 people burnt alive, of whom 9 were killed.
