Venezuela on the 18th anniversary of ALBA-TCP: In the face of imperial conspiracies, brotherly countries remain in struggle

“Even in the face of conspiracies, attacks, internal and external campaigns, the brotherly countries continue standing up, whole and victorious,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during his participation in the extraordinary session convened by the National Assembly of the People’s Power of Cuba, in commemoration of the 18th anniversary of ALBA -TCP, in the largest of the Caribbean Antilles.

The head of the Executive recalled: “today we are commemorating 18 years since, in this same space, Commander in chief Fidel Castro Ruz, and the Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez took the step to constitute an alternative to the FTAA and neoliberalism.”

“Cuba and Venezuela unite our two revolutions, our peoples, our two capacities to tell Latin America and the Caribbean that we must march together,” said President Maduro.

On the other hand, he urged the member countries of ALBA to resume the momentum of the projects that impacted the peoples of the world.
