Julio Borges became the first servile emissary to the interests of the United States, after the order established by Donald Trump last August 25, from the meeting held in the White House on May 6, 2017 with Mike Pence, as said the First Vice-President of the Psuv, Diosdado Cabello, during the 174th issue of the program “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer).
He affirmed Borges initiated a tour by European countries with the purpose of demanding to the centers of power of the extreme right wing, sanctions measures against Venezuela.
He managed to step on French soil, to also demand blockades of Venezuelan exports to that country. Then he continued his trip, accompanied by Freddy Guevara, to Spain, where he was welcomed by Mariano Rajoy at the Moncloa Palace to receive his support for the economic and financial sanctions against Venezuela from the European Parliament.
Subsequently, the trip continued to Germany and then to Britain, where, while holding long waits, they met in hallways with the respective Heads of Government, incredibly to demand the blockade of oil exports from Venezuela and to adopt packages of restrictive sanctions against Venezuelan vessels and aircraft.
During his stay in England, Borges did not miss the opportunity to visit his former ally Tony Blair, a friend of George W. Bush, for advice. Borges tour was to request an intervention to Venezuela
