The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, stated that La Guaira state has entered the stage of being an economic and tourist power of Venezuela, thanks to the twinning between this town and the Chinese city of Shenzhen.
In this regard, he highlighted that to date have been held 10 spreading days on the competitive advantages of the La Guaira Special Economic Zone (ZEE), with the participation of 978 opinion generators in the economic sectors of this central state of the nation.
For his part, Marcos Meléndez, sole authority of the Special Economic Zone of La Guaira, announced that the schedule of activities includes an exchange with China in the scientific, technological, economic, commercial and training fields.
President Maduro instructed to immediately begin investment plans in La Guaira, in the fishing, industrial, tourist and commercial sectors. “Land the projects,” he ordered.
Textile project:
The alliance between the Juana de Gallo Community Cooperative of the Valle del Pino community and the government of La Guaira, emerged in response to the census of productive forces carried out within the framework of the Economic Development Plan.
Through this Plan, a significant number of seamstresses (26) were detected in the area.
To date, this joint venture has 14 industrial sewing machines and raw materials for the production of uniforms, clothing in general, sheets and lingerie.
