In her speech, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, she indicated that in this way, in addition to finding the truth, important steps will be taken to determine the justice of those who committed these violent acts, which left a balance of more than 100 deaths, between April and July this year.

“The idea is that in Venezuela, is definitely consolidated peace, tranquility and go to a process of reunion, and to know that the other, however different, does not deserve death and that death is not justified under any circumstances” , she stressed, while recalling that the majority of the Venezuelan people expressed this in the elections on July 30, when, also -she added-, “was sent a clear message so that we have the right to resolve our differences without any kind of interference or external meddling”.

In the discussion, which is carried out at the facilities of the Flor de Venezuela in Barquisimeto, the ANC president that other issues to be addressed in these meetings is the draft Constitutional Law against Hate, Intolerance and for Peaceful Coexistence , which is currently in a phase of public consultation, which is installed in Lara state since Monday to discuss its scope.

The importance of this law “is that it is a powerful instrument whose objective is the defense of peace, of peaceful coexistence, and that is why it is an instrument in the hands of the people of Venezuela.”
