President Maduro: The US is dealing with its own electoral system

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, gave his support this Wednesday to the people of the United States (USA), assuring that they must deal with their own electoral system:

“The US is dealing with its own electoral system, we do not meddle in the internal affairs of any country. Where is Luis Almagro to condemn what is happening in the US?” He questioned during a productive economic journey.

He stressed that the US electoral process is respected by the Venezuelan government: “We do not meddle in their internal affairs because we repudiate their interference and when they want to get involved in world elections, we also have to defend ourselves,” he said.

“We do not accept anyone interfering in the internal affairs of our country, but we are attentive to what may happen because world sovereignty must be respected and supported,” stressed Maduro.

Regarding the elections, he recalled that yesterday the electoral campaign in Venezuela began on the way to the parliamentary elections.

Yesterday the Electoral Campaign began in Venezuela, which is a demonstration of how an electoral process takes place in peace, where the results are given on the same night and that is how it will be on December 6, we are heading towards popular, eminently participatory elections.”

“We need political stability, a democracy with people to rescue the economic productivity of the country, and thus we will go to the debate of ideas,” he added.

He explained that the electoral machinery is going to prepare to elect a new National Assembly with their vote. “On December 6, everyone will vote and we will recognize the results, whoever wins, we will recognize the result, as we did in 2015. If the Historical Block of the Homeland wins, we will celebrate it; if the opposing forces win, we will accept it, ” he stressed.

“In Venezuela we give the results of the elections on the same day with an exact report, on the same night the results were given (on previous elections), and that’s how it will be on December 6,” he stressed.
